Integrated Closeness
The first installment of the ongoing car project, specifically concerning a black Citroën BX 16V. The car represents a making of closeness, in relation to the artist's father and late brother. Christensson looked at how elements of the car could work as form and if a sensitivity to closeness could be prominent in shape. The car as an extension and physical manifestation of social relations. A kind of physical mapping of intimacy and loss.
